WE ARE...

 Recoil In Horror is a North American progressive deathcore band.  Founded in 2018 by vocalist Ian Gray with MetalchickMentality MGMT.  This independent band's name was created from a catastrophic life event that Ian & MJ had to face in 2017.  Inspired by their abilities to overcome this life event, they merged their creative talents together & sought out a producer to showcase Ian's unique vocal style.  Halloween of 2018 was their first official release of the vocal playthrough: "Lamia's Wrought".  The feedback from this release gave way to the decision to make Recoil In Horror a full touring band.  Ian & MJ held auditions & hired musicians, however, nothing could have prepared them for the amazing additions to the band's final lineup.  March of 2021 brought guitarist & co-writer, James Knapp. The ending of the year delivered the return of an old bandmate from a previous project, drummer Brandon Dorman. The band is releasing their first, 10-track concept album: AMALGAM on 9/20/2022.
